Senator Pileggi's 2007 Student Leadership Forum
On Friday April 27, 2007, I hosted my
fourth annual Student Leadership Forum titled "Student Guide to State Government - A Closer Look."
The leadership forum brought
together over 100 students from across the 9th
Senatorial District with state legislators,
state officials and lobbyists.
Students had the opportunity to
attend two breakout sessions; Understanding the
Legislative Process and one session of their own
choosing. Students chose from topics including Crime
and Punishment, Education, and Health and Welfare.
The event was an overwhelming
success, as you will see in the photographs below.
My staff and I look forward to next
year’s event.
