Pileggi Reminds Constituents to Register to Vote Before Oct. 9 DeadlineSenate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi today reminded his constituents to register to vote in the Nov. 6 general election. The deadline for registration is Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007. "Voting is one of the basic rights in any democracy," said Sen. Pileggi. "On November 6, Pennsylvanians have the chance to elect local leaders who will make decisions affecting their daily lives. I encourage those who are not already registered to register and vote." Residents may register to vote in person at a county voter registration office, or by visiting any of Senator Pileggi's district offices, which are located in Media (100 Granite Dr., Suite 105, 610-565-9100), Chester (415 Avenue of the States, 610-447-5845), and West Grove (631 W. Baltimore Pike, 610-345-1084). A voter registration form can also be downloaded from the Pennsylvania Department of State's online voter information center at www.votespa.com. This web site also allows residents to get directions to their polling place and obtain other information related to voter registration.
