Sen. Pileggi to Host Senior Expo on May 24 in Aston

Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi (R-9th) will host his fifth annual Senior Expo on Thursday, May 24, 2007 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Neumann College in the Life Center Building, One Neumann Drive, Aston.

The Expo will feature an array of exhibitors from state, local, county and federal agencies offering information on programs of interest to seniors. "The Senior Expo is a great event and I am pleased to have the opportunity to provide this opportunity," said Sen. Pileggi. "This event allows me to listen to the concerns of the seniors in my district and address the issues most important to them."

Scheduled exhibitors include the AARP, Crozer-Keystone Health Systems, the Taxpayer Advocate, the Bureau of Consumer Protection, Riddle Memorial Hospital, the Delaware County District Attorney's Office, the Department of Revenue, the Department of Aging, and Senior Victim Services.

In addition, PennDOT's PennMobile Unit will also be available. PennMobile is a unique and convenient way to bring driver services to PennDOT customers as a way of obtaining driver and vehicle documents. There will also be a variety of health screenings, along with information on continuing education programs and nutrition.

This event is offered free of charge as a community service.  Refreshments and door prizes will be available.

For additional information, please contact Senator Pileggi's district office at 610-447-5845 or visit his website, www.senatorpileggi.com
