Senator Pileggi to Host 2006 Senior Expo on June 9, 2006 

ASTON, PENNSYLVANIA 

State Senator Dominic F. Pileggi (R-9) will host his fourth annual Senior Expo on Friday, June 9, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Neumann College, in the Life Center Building, One Neumann Drive, Aston, PA. 

The Expo will include over 65 exhibitors from state, federal, county and local agencies featuring a wide array of services of interest to seniors.  "Last year's Expo was a huge success with over 700 area seniors attending" said Pileggi. 

Scheduled exhibitors will include the AARP, Crozer-Keystone Health Systems, Taxpayer Advocate, Bureau of Consumer Protection, Riddle Memorial Hospital, the Delaware County District Attorney's Office, Mid County Senior Services, Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, Pennsylvania Department of Aging and Senior Victim Services. 

Exhibitors will offer a variety of health screenings, information on continuing education programs and nutrition.  "My goal is to provide area seniors with information on the large number of programs and services available to them.  This event provides me with the opportunity to meet with seniors and address their concerns.  It's my pleasure to provide this service," said Pileggi.

This event is offered free of charge as a community service.  Refreshments and door prizes will be available.
