September 26, 2007 - Cornelius Rusnov, the State Library’s Rare Collections Library Project Architect, discussed the Rare Books Collection renovation project with Senator Pileggi. The project is a partnership between the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the Department of General Services and the Capitol Preservation Committee.
 

September 26, 2007 - Senator Pileggi toured the Rare Books Collection at the State Library in Harrisburg. Kurt Boding, Rare Books Librarian, showed Senator Pileggi some of the priceless books and periodicals contained within the collection.

September 20, 2007 – Senator Pileggi joined The Honorable Wendell Butler, Jr., Mayor of Chester, and other distinguished officials to officially break ground on a $6.8 million redevelopment project in Chester that will bring needed affordable housing opportunities to the city and continue a trend of revitalization initiatives in the area.

September 18, 2007 - Senator Pileggi and Senator Erickson met with the Honorable Christopher R. Mattox, the Honorable Anthony D. Scanlon, and the Honorable Richard M. Cappelli, all District Justices in Delaware County, during their recent visit to the state Capitol.

September 14, 2007 – Senator Pileggi discussed his open records legislation, Senate Bill 1, with the League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County at their recent lunch meeting at Picasso’s Restaurant in Media.
  

September 13, 2007 – Senator Pileggi was on hand when the Pennsylvania Game Commission brought 450 pounds of venison to CityTeam Ministries in Chester through the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s “Hunters Sharing the Harvest” program.
 

September 13, 2007 – Senator Pileggi toured the construction site for the Chester County Technical High School in West Grove. Once completed the high school will be Pennsylvania’s first technical and career high school to be built from the ground up in more than a decade. Click here to see more photos of the school.
