July 27, 2007 – Senator Pileggi joined The Honorable Wendell Butler, Jr., Mayor of Chester, to announce funding for the City’s Wellington Heights Homeownership Project. The funding will be used to construct 20 semi-detached, single-family homes in both the Highland Gardens and 6th and Rearney neighborhoods of the City of Chester. The grant was awarded by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
